What is FIRST ?
FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) is a non-profit organization that inspires young people's interest in STEM through engaging robotics programs and competitions. Its flagship program, the FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC), challenges high school students to design, build, and program industrial-sized robots to compete in an annual game against teams from around the world. Through this immersive experience, students develop technical skills, leadership abilities, and life skills embracing FIRST's ideals of gracious professionalism and coopertition.
